jQuery and the like are designed, managed and written by some of the very best developers: John Resig on jQuery, Douglas Crockford on YUI, and a huge number of less well known, but equally skilled collaborators.

All the major frameworks have mature APIs, strict testing regimes, excellent documentation, and face continual scrutiny from thousands of developers.

They have very deep root.
