Hey Folks, 
Wonder how do you get your handset’s physical address (or MAC address) ? Yeah it is needed at times, I used it to add it in my internet modem’s allow list. MAC is nothing but the physical address of wireless LAN card which is present in your mobile phone and one cannot change it. It is fairly easy to view the MAC address of your phone. When in standby mode all you have to do is type in *#62209526# and the MAC address will be displayed on the screen.
Hope that helps, should work on all the symbian phones which have WLAN cards.
